The Augustali farm is located in Sicily between the provinces of Trapani and Palermo at the centre of the Gulf of Castellammare and enjoys the suggestive hilly landscape that descends towards the sea. AUGUSTALI is located in the most fertile part of Bosco Falconeria between Alcamo and Partinico, a territory so dear to Frederick II of Swabia.

In 1960 the first hectares of "garden" was purchased, so it is called the most fertile part of the Falconry Woods between the Alcamo and Partinico countryside.

From 2007 to 2010, Finella and her husband Vincenzo buy three new neighbouring parcels and enrich the family's olive grove with traditional cultivars such as Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola and Biancolilla.

Here the 1500 olive trees support the dream of the Spouses Girls: to produce the best extra virgin olive oil possible.

But for the winemaker, who has made many vintages and in various latitudes, the heart always beats in the vineyard, and therefore an experimental vineyard completes the company that today extends over 12 hectares.

From the Federico II vineyard, much is expected because it boasts particularly favourable pedo-climatic conditions: average altitude, sandy soil, exposure to the North of the rows and mild seasons.

"Our grapes cannot hope for better!" Comments Finella "having a winemaker owner which comes from a family with strong viticultural traditions ".

The harvest is manual and takes place between the first and second decade of September, depending on the weather.
